No matter what a client's

industry or sector,

Konnessi can help to build web presence, increasing both web ROI and the value of marketing efforts. Featured below are just a sampling of the different challenges which Konnessi has taken on, with remarkable results for our clients. Whether building brand recognition, making the most of a company's incredible reputation for expert work, promoting sales by improving search results, or drawing businesses into a website with improved customer relationship management technology, Konnessi has worked with our clients to reach their individual goals and drive up revenue.

The Situation: A Legend Never Dies

The Client: Anthony's Pier 4 Restaurant (ongoing strategy)

Official Website: www.pier4.com

The Solution:

Anthony's Pier 4 is one of Boston's most iconic restaurants, laying claim to clientele including Hollywood A-list legends (Elizabeth Taylor) and every White House Patriarch in the 40 years. Unfortunately, while the 47-year-old waterfront establishment has barely changed since it opened, neither has its regular crowd.

Konnessi has vowed to reach a different demographic and help Anthony's to fill tables by updating their bare-bones company website and popularizing little-known wholesale fish fresh from the Maine coast. With a social media strategy worthy of its star-studded history, Anthony's Pier 4 will be serving up its trademark hot popovers long after the Obama administration.

The Situation: Social Media Fumble

The Client: Furr’s Fresh Buffet

Official Website: www.furrs.net (Not Built by Konnessi)

The Solution:

Furr’s Fresh Buffet is a longstanding bargain eatery in the Southwest, with over fifty locations in seven states. One of its first locations was in Odessa, Texas--the town which would later earn national recognition through H.G. Bissinger’s tale of the 1988 high school football season, Friday Night Lights. Unfortunately, Furr’s wasn’t playing the social media game at a championship level, which is why Konnessi was recruited for walk-on web strategy services.

Konnessi began with a social media play, backing up Twitter and Facebook accounts for two Furr’s locations with localized listings and engagement with college students and young families in the area. With a better strategy for reaching out to existing and potential diners and tantalizing photos of buffet offerings posted in more places, Furr’s latest update is a gamewinning touchdown.

The Situation: What you don't know can still hurt you

The Client: Bricco Restaurant (ongoing strategy)

Official Website: www.bricco.com (not built by Konnessi)

The Solution:

Bricco is one of the North End's finest Italian eateries, drawing a high profile crowd of young financiers, local stallions, and cuisine-savvy tourists. Unfortunately, what Bricco didn't realize was that bad reviews on Yelp and a nonexistent customer relations management policy were limiting its potential. Konnessi is working with the Bricco management team to make sure the restaurant's killer gnocchi and secret squash ravioli recipe are what online reviewers are raving about. Throw in a pinch of social networking know-how, and Bricco's world is be looking oh-so-sweet.

The Situation: Stuck in the 80's

The Client: Ri Magazine/Retro RI

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution: Rhode Island’s native population is notorious. Notorious for their love of hot weiners, for their outdoor concerts at Newport, and for a certain former mayor who became notorious in his own way. RI Mag was a local print publication, notorious for being readily available in local stores, as well as for articles reminding Rhode Islanders of the state’s past. Unfortunately, RI Mag’s web presence was a little too retro.

Enter Konnessi. With a full appreciation for the times and landmarks so fondly remembered by locals, Konnessi joined forces with RI Mag, to create RetroRI.com. The site will feature interviews with local celebrities, histories of Rhode Island’s hardy small businesses, and stories about all the other Rhode Island treasures that many residents hold dear, including coffee milk, grinders, “The Pineapple,” and Rocky Point. The 1970’s were a confusing decade for hair, and the 1980’s were a terrible decade for fashion, but the 21st century is looking pretty good for RI Local.

The Situation: Bottoms Up!

The Client: Gordon's Wines

Official Website: www.gordonswine.com (Not Built by Konnessi)

The Solution: Gordon’s Wines is a locally-owned Massachusetts company known throughout the New England region for its wide variety of fine wines and the well-versed sommeliers who staff its’ three Boston-area stores. Offering its shoppers the opportunity to order any wine in the world for local pickup (or even delivery!) Gordon’s is a go-to for oenophiles and casual sippers alike.
Without an up-to-date infrastructure for tracking past orders and reaching out to customers with news and announcements, Gordon’s Wines was missing out on business, and Boston’s fine dining crowd was missing out on unique, hard-to-find, and locally-sourced wines. Konnessi’s task will be to help Gordon’s Wines to better reach past (and potential) clients, target niche consumers, and announce upcoming wine tastings and wine school classes. Modern web-based marketing and customer outreach is just the refined taste Gordon’s Wines needs to appeal to discriminating palates.

The Situation: Hide and Seek

The Client: Premier Bartending and Beverage Service

Official Website: www.premierbarservice.com

The Solution:

Premier Bartending and Beverage Service can lay claim to a unique partnership with Gordon's Liquors of Waltham, MA, enough staff for events of 1,000+ guests, and an unparalleled $5 million liquor liability policy. Unfortunately, none of the visitors to Premier's website would have known this. Konnessi took initiative and rebuilt the PBBS website from top to bottom, aiming to make this company's range of services and unique benefits more obvious to would-be party throwers. As a compliment to this ramped-up website, Konnessi is also using search engine marketing to ensure that Massachusetts-based partiers can find PBBS without a hassle.

The Situation: Nip/Tuck

The Client: Premier Title & Escrow

Official Website: www.ptecompany.com

The Solution:

Premier Title & Escrow, a top-notch title company dedicated to quality customer service, was in the midst of a slight identity crisis. They were in need of a sturdier corporate identity, search engine strategy, and a home page more reflective of their nationwide professional presence and range of available services. Konnessi sank its teeth in, putting its design team to work creating an identifiable brand that draws in first-time customers and repeat visitors alike, from sea to shining sea. Thanks to our search engine efforts and a newly-implemented social media campaign, PT&E now shows off its sleeker, smoother site to a bigger audience than ever before. In the world of web business, "natural aging" has no place.

The Situation: Between a Rock and a Hard Place

The Client: Whale Rock Point Partners

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution:

When you handle over $350 million in invested funds, you kind of owe it to your clients to maintain a sleek, professional public image. Whale Rock, for all their financial wizardry, was more at home using a Bloomberg terminal than they were designing and building a website, which is why they brought Konnessi into the picture to help them navigate the web scene.

Konnessi will be building a new website for Whale Rock to begin with, but we’ll also be beefing up their corporate branding and establishing a social media presence. Not that a cool $350 million is anything to sniff at, but we’re pretty sure that Whale Rock will be the one of biggest fish in the pond before too long.

The Situation: A Century of Progress

The Client: Esposito Jewelry

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution:

Founded in 1910, Esposito Jewelry has enjoyed continued business in part thanks to sales opportunities through QVC and the Home Shopping Network. But as the company crossed the 100-year mark, it had become clear that television-based sales had been eclipsed by e-shopping.

With buyers already accustomed to ordering everything from sneakers to bananas with the click of a mouse, Konnessi has no time to waste in setting up an e-commerce platform for Esposito's unique necklaces, bracelets, and other baubles. The Esposito brand has already stood the test of time; our job is to make sure that its sales strategy doesn't cling to the past.

The Situation: Fashion Emergency

The Client: Tassi Design

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution:

Tassi Designs produces customizable, comfortable, wear-every-day-able bracelets. Available in a rainbow of colors and offering a selection of charms, the bracelets were actually inspired by a 7-year-old diabetes patient named Angelo, who needed to wear a medical alert bracelet but needed something that could stand up to all the rough treatment a 7-year-old boy could inflict.

With Konnessi’s help in creating an e-commerce platform and marketing Tassi Designs through search engine optimization, social media marketing, and CRM outreach, kids and adults alike will soon be sporting fashionable, comfortable bracelets whether or not medical conditions require them to do so.

The Situation: Arriving in style

The Client: Nashville Luxury Limos

Official Website: www.nashvilleluxurylimos.com

The Solution: Armed with a fleet of elegant town cars and sumptuous limos, Nashville Luxury Limo services partygoers and business professionals alike in its cultured hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. A long-time leader in the field of luxury transport, Nashville Luxury Limo furnishes vehicles for everything from quinceañeras to concerts, always providing a stellar experience for those who prefer to ride in style.

Recognizing the paramount importance of an impeccable web presence in cornering the market, Nashville approached Konnessi about revamping their website and beefing up their social media marketing strategy. With staggering new graphics, an easily navigable website platform, killer content, and comprehensive customer management philosophy, the rebirth of NashvilleLuxuryLimo.com marks both a stronger web presence for Nashville Luxury Limo and a more pleasant booking experience for clients.

The Situation: Kitchen Confidential

The Client: Gordon’s Culinary Center

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution: Housed within one of the Gordon’s company’s three brick-and-mortar stores, the Culinary Center helps patrons pair food, wines, and desserts. Whether for an extra-special romantic dinner or a perfectly- coordinated wedding reception, Gordon’s Culinary Center provides gastronomes with the education and resources they need to prepare a world-class dinner right at home.

Konnessi’s efforts on behalf of Gordon’s Culinary Center will help the brand to reach out to existing Gordon’s customers (many of whom already turn to the company for their wine, beer, and hard liquor needs) and encourage aspiring chefs to learn more about the culinary arts. The fine art of wine pairing doesn’t lend itself to student-directed learning, which is why Konnessi will be reminding dining elitists in the tri-state area that a true food snob would never let the waiter suggest a Riesling when a dry Pino Grigio is in order.

The Situation: Failure to Launch

The Client: Rubiano and Company

Official Website: www.rubianocpa.com

The Solution:

Rubiano & Company CPA's and business advisors had everything they needed to launch a website, except, well...a website. With content already written, Konnessi's graphic design specialist went about creating the perfect logo. Our next step was to build, test, and launch the firm's website with it's new logo, upgraded and unified theme, and expanded content.

The Situation: Taking the Show on the Road

The Client: Carlo Carlozzi

Official Website: www.wherescarlo.com

The Solution: Carlo Carlozzi is something of a Rhode Island celebrity. As a bartender at Ten Steak & Sushi, he’s been mixing his signature mojitos and listening to the gossip and troubles of Providence-area socialites, politicians, and average Joes alike for a decade. Carlo’s style and professionalism have won him guest bartending opportunities in Boston, New York, and Newport, which is why he got in touch with Konnessi.

Carlo wanted his devoted fans back in Providence to be able to find him, even on nights he’s not in town. Konnessi built him a website to help answer the question “Where’s Carlo,” and added Carlo’s unique cocktail recipes, a short bio, and information on the venues where he’ll be slinging drinks. A full social media buildout now helps his friends and frequent customers stay in touch via Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, and other popular social networks. With a live site and active social media feeds, Carlo’s signature bar act now goes on tour without breaking ties with fans back at home.

The Situation: Value-Added Proposition

The Client: Chatham Capital Partners (ongoing strategy)

Official Website: www.chathamcapital.com (not built by Konnessi)

The Solution: Chatham Capital is a US mid-cap mezzanine finance firm with a portfolio of ventures ranging from restaurant chains to web sales portals. Unfortunately for Chatham, potential investors were missing out on profits for lack of a coherent, structured web presence and branding.

That is, these institutional and individual investors were missing out, until Konnessi stepped in and began to systematically re-brand Chatham. Promotional materials were changed from the industry standard (spreadsheets and powerpoints) to colorful, informative infographics.

Interested parties no longer have to pore through pages of data to come to the really exciting part (Chatham’s stunning 11% return in 2008). Our next step? Loading presentations on to Android tablets for investors to flick through on their own time. Making the world of financial data exciting? There’s definitely an app for that.

The Situation: Cultural Milestones

The Client: 10 Steak and Sushi

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution:

Offering everything from stylish sliders to creative sushi, the fare at 10 is anything but your average surf n’ turf. Unfortunately, with chefs busy whipping up Asian fusion creations, the folks at 10 didn’t have much time left over to work on customer relationship management or run a social media strategy. That’s where Konnessi comes in—encouraging onetime-regulars to come back for a new seasonal dish, reminding devoted husbands of an upcoming anniversary, or just giving favorite diners a little nudge via email are all part of the CRM game. Combined with a social media strategy worthy of both hemispheres and reputation management on sites like Yelp and UrbanSpoon, Konnessi’s going to make sure that this Providence hotspot stays a perfect 10.

The Situation: WikiTweaks

The Client: Military Home Link

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution:

If the perfect business opportunity could be dreamt up and brought to life, that opportunity would be Military Home Link. With housing units at more than 60 military bases across the United States, the company sought to connect just-relocated servicemembers and their families with neighbors, friends, and businesses near their new homes. Konnessi stepped in with a comprehensive strategy to rebuild the MHL homepage, but the real improvement is in the small changes. On the new, Konnessi-built site, standardized forms, an easily-accessible Wiki community page, and local advertising partnerships will help to make cross-country transfers as easy and welcoming as possible for families in all branches of the American military.

The Situation: iCare

The Client: Green Penguin

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution:

Green Penguin’s business model rests on a brilliant idea: make the responsible disposal of technology the easy option for major companies, and reclaim old technology to be spruced up and reused. Social, environmental, and economic responsibility are company buzzwords. The problem was, without a well-known name or a recognizable corporate brand, Green Penguin was having trouble finding regional popularity. Having benefitted firsthand from Green Penguin’s adept re-use of castoff computer parts, Konnessi helped them create a brand-new corporate identity, complete with a logo, and mission statement; and is working to build a unified web presence for marketing purposes. With Konnessi helping to spread the Green Penguin vision—Technology is Renewable—it turns out it’s actually pretty easy being green.

The Situation: Pinnacle BCS

The Client: Pinnacle BCS

Official Website:In Progress!

The Solution:

Pinnacle BCS is a regional leader in IT consulting, specializing in helping other companies to streamline processes and offer better service to their customers. So when Pinnacle realized that Konnessi could help them to streamline their web presence and offer better service to more people through search engine optimization, they jumped at the opportunity.
Konnessi is rebuilding Pinnacle’s website, keeping the important information but structuring it in a far less labyrinthine way. With a new blog and some help from Konnessi’s content department, Pinnacle will be able to comment on case studies and developments in the world of IT software, even giving some basic pointers on how ITIL can be applied to make businesses function more smoothly. Pinnacle’s consultants were always technical whiz kids, but soon the company’s website will be a knockout to boot.

The Situation: A unique problem needed a Konnessi solution

The Client: Rebuilders Auto Supply

Official Website: www.coresupply.com (Not Built by Konnessi)

The Solution:

Already a dominant player in the automotive core industry, Rebuilders Automotive Supply had a problem that most businesses would love, they needed more inventory!! Easy problem, right? Not quite. The parts needed are scattered across the country in over 5000 places and require personal attention to obtain. Armed with RAS's existing massive database, Konnessi went to work putting its business expertise into practice. A new department of specialized representatives was recruited, hired and trained by Konnessi to build continuous partnerships with suppliers, the entire acquisition department was re-structured and trained to work in territory teams, and customized training in sales and efficiency gave the employees the skills needed to take RAS to an even higher level. Is this an example of a typical Konnessi project? Nope. But if Konnessi's overall business expertise can take a nationwide leader to a new level, what can we do for you?

The Situation: Designed to Leave an Impression

The Client: Gordon Archibald Engineers

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution:

Gordon Archibald is a well-respected transportation engineering firm in Rhode Island. So well-respected, in fact, that they’ve been too busy to make many changes to their website over the years. That’s no way to represent a straight-shooting team of experts.

Konnessi stepped in to help Gordon Archibald’s website better reflect the firm’s capabilities, contributing professional graphics and branding to plans for a more modern website. Because if you’re going to be on the information superhighway, it’s a good idea to have a rock-solid design working for you.

The Situation: Laying a Foundation for Success

The Client: Rhode Island Consulting Engineers (RICE)

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution:

Established in 1991, Rhode Island Consulting Engineers is a professional organization representing a group of independent engineering firms. A nonprofit organization, RICE also hosts career learning days and offers summer programs for high school and college-aged students interested in the profession. The group even offers scholarships to undergraduates studying engineering, funded by a yearly golf tournament.

While not a “business” in the traditional sense, RICE still realized that a website with basic information and member-only news page would help more people to learn about the organization, its members, and its mission. With Konnessi’s help, the hardworking group will soon have a web portal that reflects its members’ work--efficient, straightforward, and structurally sound.

The Situation: Barely Legal

The Client: Bevilacqua & Bevilacqua LLC

Official Website: In Progress!

The Solution:

Bevilacqua & Bevilacqua is a Providence-based law practice with the experience and professionalism to take on nearly any case. What they don’t have are two small business essentials--a website and a corporate identity. The firm grew on word-of-mouth recommendations and a sterling reputation, but with all the attention focused on client affairs, a bare minimum of attention was devoted to other business essentials.Fortunately, that’s all about to change.

With Konnessi’s help, John Bevilacqua is making the final tweaks to his logo and associated branding materials. From there, creating a website as classy as the Bevilacqua practice will be a snap, allowing the growing law firm to present a more modern face to existing and potential clients alike.

The Situation: It's all about location

The Client: Coast Realty

Official Website: www.68cumberland.com

The Solution:

Coast Realty found itself with vacant office space, and retained Konnessi to help fill in the blanks on their balance sheet. Konnessi's researchers realized that many businesses might rely solely on internet sources when looking for a new office location, and applied a Feng Shui-inspired combination of SEO/SEM and social media to draw in potential tenants. Whether a would-be office space shopper searches for Coast Realty's building or those of its two top competitors, the same web address comes out on top--and, spoiler alert, it's not the homepage of either competitor. With search engine worries alleviated, Konnessi made sure that all the shoppers visiting Coast Realty's homepage would find a navigable, user-friendly site. With Konnessi's help, the only worry at Coast Realty headquarters will soon be where to put the "No Vacancy" sign.

The Situation: Fixer-Upper

The Client: Wayne Roofing Systems

Official Website: www.wayneroof.com

The Solution:

Wayne Roofing Systems is a company with more than three decades experience in the roofing industry, but they were looking to market their services beyond the mere word-of-mouth promotion which had sustained them since the 1980's. Konnessi helped Wayne Roofing to leverage its great customer network and reputation to bring in more business. The first change we made? Get rid of the 1970's-era brochure and acquire the wayneroof.com domain name. With a new logo, a social media strategy, and a web presence to match, Wayne Roofing began marketing new services (like round- the-clock roof repair) and saw its profits skyrocket.
